I saw this idea on Pinterest recently and knew right away I wanted to re-create it in my home. I love taking photos, displaying them and enjoying them. I still print out my favorite shots and put them in photo albums. Call me old fashioned, but I love pulling out old albums and re-living my fond memories. This photo wall is a wonderful way to display photos along with adding variety and style to a large empty wall.
I choose frames of various shapes and sizes. I bought a few new ones and also incorporated ones that I had at home. Some of these frames were not hang-able so I added a green ribbon for a pop of color. This gives the wall more style and provides a functional way for hanging.
This wall is fairly large and by no means I am done. I will continue to add frames and post an update as I do so. I am also considering incorporating some of my favorite quotes. What else can I add to the wall to make it more personal?
I like this idea and how you have matched the colour of the ribbon to your curtains, very cute :) I have a similar idea planned for Mr Bertie's office (when we get around to it!) I have a massive world map we are going to put up and then smaller photos will be put on top of the places we have been (obviously taken in those places haha)
