Final Dressember Day: NYE 2012

New Year's Eve was finally the day I began to feel better.  I decided to make up for my lack of Dressembering by wearing 2 dresses.  The first is a dress that is about 12 years old from Forever 21.  I know, I should be embarrassed to admit this, but if I look at the bright side it means I can still fit into clothes that I wore in college!  Woo hoo! 

The evening of New Year's Eve was spent at my friend Lauren's in laws annual New Year's Eve party.  They host this fabulous party with food, champagne and gorgeous decor every year.  I loved ringing in the New Year with some of my favorite people.  The photo below is of Lauren and I and I am wearing a sequence black dress from TJ Maxx.  I love this dress and brought it specially for this occasion.  I wore it with black tights and my Nine West booties.   
 

 

 

My 2012 was full of changes and personal growth.  I am looking forward to what 2013 has to offer and am excited to set new goals and accomplish more dreams.  As I continue to find myself and take on new adventures I hope to have more things fall into place throughout this upcoming year.  One of my goals that I tampered with this past year was blogging.  It wasn't until December 2012 that I finally stuck to it for more then just a few days at a time (Thank you Dressember).  As 2013 begins, my New Year's resolution is to continue blogging.  My plan is to continue the Dressember concept but with different monthly challenges.  Each month I will choose a challenge, task or goal and work to accomplish it.  I then will of course blog about it along the way.  My goal is to show others they can do whatever their heart desires if they just set their mind to it.  There will be challenges and set backs but I am excited to try this new venture and I hope to improve my writing, photography and blogging skills as the year goes on.
